w52.2.2: Ants
My daughter had left milk in her cereal bowl this morning and when we got back home this evening, I was presented with this photo opportunity of ants sipping the milk. This scene reminds me of something I watched in National Geographic channel long time ago of animals quenching their thirst in a water hole 😉
Look close and you’ll see the reflection of the ants – gives the feel these little guys are staring at their reflection 😉
Yikes! That’s kinda creepy…but cool at the same time…
simply fantastic, my compliments
it’s as if they were waiting for you!
brilliant!
This is pretty cool, Sasi. I think I would’ve cloned out the ones that are blurred. Great shot.
Great shot Sasi, it’s like they’re posing for you!
Great pic Sasi….as usual keep rocking
Wow, serendipity really is your friend Sasi. That is a beautiful shot, lovely use of negative space. It would have been easy to screw this one up. I don’t agree with Judy though, I think the moving ants bring a dynamism to the photo and an interesting counterpoint to the sipping ants. I’m of the view that a photo shouldn’t look like an art design exercise 🙂
Oh my, you got a great photo opportunity out of this one! I like how they are lined up, almost looks unreal!
This is fascinating! Great capture!
As much as I would dislike the idea of having all these ants in my cereal bowl, I must say I love this shot. It’s wonderful to see how the ants work and I also really like the movement shown in a few of the ants. You know the shot is alive! It’s wonderful.
I detest ants, but this is an Amazing shot! I especially like the blurred ants in action 🙂
Amazing shot! I, too, like the white space.
