Photo 365: Day 129 – Mother’s day muffins
Mocha muffins – that’s what my daughter and I ended up baking for my wife for this mother’s day. Long time ago I used to write recipes and you can find the recipe for the muffin recipe here.
The sweetest thing was my daughter’s note. She wrote “Mom you are very nice! You are sweeter than cake!“
Love the set up of the muffins…and I really like the background detail, the egg shells in particular!
I learned this setup to cool the muffins from Baking Banter blog.
And I’m hungry now!
What a wonderful image! They look delicious. What a nice gesture for your wife.
Yummy! I like the bowl and egg shell in the background. It tells a story that you made them from scratch.
Nice idea to pull them out of the tin. This gives it more interest and makes it different than what you normally see. The background definitely gives it more interest as well. Nicely done.
I was going to comment on loving the background, too! It makes it look natural and home-y 🙂
I too love the background detail–very well composed. lovely shot! (sweet note from your daughter too 🙂
Mmm, muffins. I love the composition and DOF!
Great photo! I love the egg shells in the background. Well done composition.
love the photo & the background detail!
I’ve made this comment before, but I think I will have to make it again. It is just amazing to me in some of your shots how carefully you stage the out of focus background. It looks so precise, yet so natural. I really admire that and I think it will inspire me.
