Photo 365: Day 265 – Basketball Pole
Another busy Friday evening. I had to take my daughter for her Chess club meet this evening and shot this basketball pole just outside the club meet place while I was waiting for my daughter. It’s odd that there is a basketball pole in the parking lot 😉
Used Fuji P&S camera for this shot. Though I could use this P&S in A/S mode, it’s a bit limited – I could set the aperture from f/2.8 through f/8.0

I like the apparent framing of the scene by the basketball pole and there is a strange synchronicity between the basketball pole and the two lamp posts. I know you would have lost that nice red pole, but I’d love to have seen this in black & white.
