Photo 365: Day 326 – Rainy day bokeh
It is a rainy day here in St. Louis and I shot this rainy day bokeh shot early this morning in the Metro station as I was waiting for my train to arrive.
I thought the bokeh formed by street light and water drops on the windshield was interesting.
I know technically there are things in this shot that doesn’t follow photographic rules…but for the sheer fun of bokeh, I thought I should post it for day:326
Happy Thanksgiving folks..enjoy your turkey or tofurkey (if you’re a vegan)!
I love these rainy window shots, the water drops form an always fascinating and variable effect. What makes this one special is the monochromatic nature of the light. Its like sprinkling a particular gemstone all over a scene. No matter how mundane the scene, the water drops makes it interesting.
This is beautiful! It’s like a burst of sunshine on a cold, gloomy, wet day. Imagine – photography for the fun of it! We should do that more often just play and foget about the rules.
Well, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and tofurkey? Hmm, not so sure about that sounds funny LOL
I love the look of the rainy day bokeh.
This is great, looks like a disco ball 🙂
Love the rainy bokeh. Looks very dark and mysterious. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
At first glance, I thought they were snow flakes. Nice bokeh.
Happy Thanksgiving! 😀
It looks very holidayish! Very nice bokeh!
