Yes; it’s snow on the ground. We had less than an inch of snowfall last night as we are waiting for spring’s arrival.
Shot this in a park close home this evening as I was waiting for my daughter to return from her chess club meet.
I like the way this shot turned out – there is a bit of green in the grass amidst the white snow on the ground and this shot give me the feel that I’m in the woods.

Shot these folks on Segway tour during my visit to Chicago last spring.
Go Green!

As I was looking for macro subject for today’s post what caught my attention was my daughter’s scarf.
Upon close observation I saw a pattern and a wonderful texture. Had this shot with 60mm macro @f/11 using window loighting.

Another shot from my past trip to Chicago in December 2010.
Skyscraper as seen through an alleyway somewhere along Wabash Ave. in downtown Chicago.

Remember this shot titled Got Rice! from my 365 project.
My wife’s niece (and her family) were visiting us from Chicago and shot this last evening while she posed for this portrait.

Shot this interesting looking church’ entrance/door close home this evening. I am guessing it’s a back door…
Update: One of my Facebook friend commented it’s a side door that gets used for wedding party and such.
Had a chance to visit St. Louis downtown last evening and shot the Gateway Arch from the front of Busch Stadium. It was a quick run to the city and what all I had was my Fuji F30 P&S. May be next time I’ll have to lug my Nikon D70 😉
For folks not familiar with St. Louis area, St. Louis is a baseball city and we love St. Louis Cardinals. Here you see some of St. Louis Cardinals’ Hall of Fame statues and at the far end you can the 630 feet Gateway Arch monument.

That’s my son enjoying his favorite show on PBS. I didn’t use flash for this shot (as I didn’t want to lose the moment) so had to bump up the ISO and ended up with a grainy portrait. But I’m overall satisfied with the outcome.

We have been enjoying warm weather here in the St. Louis area and took my son for a walk last evening as the Sun was settling down for the day.
Shot this silhouette of the houses in our community along with the contrails few minutes after the sunset.
