Photo 365: Day 44 – Tulips

Ah Tulips…who doesn’t like them. Bought these at Costco yesterday (I believe these were from Canada), and took pictures of tulips this noon using natural lighting. I really like the way these turned out 😉

Had to go to Costco on my way from work this evening and bought a box of ‘sin free’ Sofella Brownie mix – though to me sin free means veggies/fruits 😉 Anyway, got home and we baked these petite brownies – yeah we got Valentine in our home. These turned really good and mixing/baking was easy as well. You just need to add yogurt to the mix, mix it, and bake it.
I started taking pictures of these brownies and also took a picture of the girls in the box as I already had the idea of diptych in my mind set for today’s photo post. I thought the picture turned out OK to my taste.

We had some Hersey’s kisses in our candy jar and my wife arranged them for me in a heart pattern.
Other than that, I think I am getting bored with this Valentine’s theme 😉

As my daughter was signing her Valentine’s day cards for her class friends, I thought this might be perfect post for today’s photo post with Valentine’s day theme.
Took pictures using D70/Sigma 17-70mm zoom lens and later used Picasa to make these pictures as a collage.

One more photo post related to Valentine’s day theme.
Got these cheap’o candies last week with the idea of posing these as a subject for my photo post. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the bag of candies. I was rather surprised to see the imprint of text barely visible on most of the heart candies. Surely these were real cheap 😉

Continuing with the Valentine’s day theme, here is a capture of a ripe, heart shaped strawberry we picked during grocery shopping past weekend. I really like the way the picture turned out.
Used Nikkor 60mm micro lens to capture this in natural lighting.

This week’s theme will be Valentine’s day 😉
Here is a photo capture of my kids cool looking sunglasses.
Used Nikon 50mm prime to capture these in natural light.

Here is the picture of my daughter’s colorful bangles.
I didn’t like the way it turned out though 🙁
I thought the picture is quite boring and should have shot this in a different composition.
