Had a chance to visit St. Louis Air Show this year with friends and family. Perfect weather on this Sunday for an air show and took my good old Nikon D70 to shoot, as D600 is yet to be serviced by Nikon LA center. Cropped sensor coupled with Nikon 70-200mm came in handy for this event shoot. As I knew beforehand that it will be a sunny day, took my cheap ‘o Tiffen ND filter and shot the entire event with the ND filter ON.

Shot this hot air balloon in mid-air as we were leaving Faust Park in Chesterfield last evening.
I bet there will be plenty of photo ops for folks flying the hot air balloon. Makes me wonder if they are photogs 🙂
Visited Faust Park in Chesterfield with my little boy this evening and we walked by the historic Thornhill home. Before he ran out of patience I took couple of shots and really like this shot of window and sidings. I was drawn by the colors and contrast besides the lines.
Had a chance to visit Faust Park in Chesterfield, MO with my son last evening. He was OK with me spending few minutes shooting the historic homes before taking him to the play area.
Will definitely go back to the park for a photo walk 😉
