Photo 365: Day 327 – I’m so stuffed…
I’m so stuffed…Later!
I’m so stuffed…Later!
Today’s daily shoot assignment: Go white on white today. Make a photograph of a white subject on a white background.
Decided to try daily shoot assignment this evening as I hadn’t made my shot until 9:00 PM and I was running out of ideas. So glanced over DPS assignment and it looked very interesting. What popped my mind was, an egg on a white cardboard.
Shot this under kitchen/CFL lighting. To bring out the texture and highlight the shadows, shot this @f/11 for a 2sec exposure.
Will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings 😉
Turkey pepperoni (pizza) on French Bread…that’s for dinner tonight.
And…it turned out really good with just a little effort 😉
That’s my wife’s niece giving a quick smile for this shot. They are visiting us for this Thanksgiving.
That’s the view as seen from our dining area window.
This was something I came up at last moment. I had few other shots that I took during my visit to the library this afternoon but I couldn’t resist posting this for day: 322, as I’m a big fan of low light photography.
I really like the way this shot turned out.
Layers: not the Photoshop kind – it’s the layers on an Onion 😉
Ripe pomegranate ready to be consumed.
We found that, you don’t have to consume the pomegranate as soon as your buy it from the store but let it sit in a cool spot for about 2+ weeks until the rind begins to harden. It’s just about time for this to be split open 😉
I ended up shooting this macro for it’s texture and color. Used another pomegranate as a backdrop.
Macro challenge for day:318 – Identify this subject.
I like to keep the PP to the minimal in my shots and the same goes with this shot as well. Had to convert this to B&W as I feel monotoned subjects works very well with macro challenges 😉
11/17/2010 – Answer:
It’s a 2D rendition of a binder clip 😉
Pingu – that’s what my son call this little guy. For folks not familiar with this Pingu, it’s a Swedish Swiss show about a family of penguins at south pole.
With winter approaching, days are getting shorter and there isn’t much light when I return from work and I have to get a bit more creative for the next 45 days or so.
I noticed strong shadows of Pingu this evening and decided to shoot this for day:317
Finally we got to bake the butternut squash which we had bought from the store about a fortnight ago 😉
Surprisingly it was still delicious.
