Photo 365: Day 80 – Less is More
/in photo 365/byPicked the idea for today’s post from Digital Photography School blog’s weekend photography challenge titled Less is More.
BTW…it’s a Whale cracker made by Stauffer’s 😉
Photo 365: Day 79 – Ariel
/in photo 365/byHere is a “mini” drawing of Ariel made by my daughter. She used to watch lots of princess DVDs when she was a 4yr old but seems to have grown out of it now…yay!!
Photo 365: Day 78 – Pasta in a Bottle
/in photo 365/byRead that as Angel hair pasta in a bottle…LOL. Also take a look at my next bonus photo post – same set-up, but a different composition.
Photo 365: Day 78 – Say Pasta (bonus picture)
/in photo 365/byHere is another photo post with Pasta 😉 Same set-up as the earlier one but a totally different composition.
Photo 365: Day 77 – Sweet Paniyaram
/1 Comment/in photo 365/byPaniyaram – This is a traditional sphere shaped, sweet tasting snack/breakfast dish from Tamil Nadu, India. My wife cooked these for dinner this evening. What better way to celebrate my daughter’s spring break 😉
Here is the wiki entry for Paniyaram:
Paniyaram (பணியாரம்) is a dish made by steaming batter — traditionally made from pulses (specifically black lentils) and rice using a mold.

I got the idea for today’s post from the the picture of CFL light bulb that I picked from Costco yesterday 😉
Photo 365: Day 75 – Harmony
/in photo 365/byThese were the toys my daughter used to play when she was 3yr old – these were from wooden doll house collection. I got the idea for today’s post, from my 2yr old who was playing with these last evening. I just lined them all together for this capture.
They are all seem to be happy and in Harmony 🙂
Photo 365: Day 74 – Symmetry
/in photo 365/by pattyHere is my another last minute try out…Usually I like taking pictures when I get back from work when there is sufficient light. It was such a busy day (blame it on the time change), I had to scramble for ideas until the last moment 😉
We have this colorful umbrella and my 2 year old was playing with this over the past weekend. I kind of know that it could be a subject for someday. As I was racking my brain on how to make this as a subject for today’s post, I saw the symmetry (of triangles) when I opened up the umbrella. So had to set my camera with 50mm prime on the tripod and shot this with 5sec exposure and f/11 aperture. I really liked the way it turned out.
I have to say, life is made of math & science 😉
