Brachiosaurus
Shot this Brachiosaurus sculpture outside the Field Museum in Chicago during my recent visit there.
With the blue sky in the background, I thought this turned out real nice.

Evolution…as seen in Chicago Field Museum.
Another shot from last spring. Spotted this seagull perched on a wall across from Field Museum in Chicago.
Spotted this jogger in a park along Michigan Ave during my visit to Chicago last year.
Firecracker Flower – another ‘babied’ tropical plant that has survived this winter. This has survived 3 winters now – as it’s grown in a flower pot, it’s easy to move around with the change in season.
Used Sigma 150mm macro lens @f/9.0 for this shot.
If you love macro and got some cash to invest in photography hobby, this is one of the best lens I would suggest.
That’s one of the bud on our ‘babied’ Arabian Jasmine plants that has survived this harsh winter as it gets to grow comfortably at 60° F indoors 😉
It’s been a while since I last posted a foodie shot…
It’s not that we aren’t cooking anymore, it just takes quite a bit of time for food shots – from the time it takes to set the table for the food to get everything right. Further I still rely on natural window lighting for my food shots and it has to be done just before the Sun sets. That being said, only weekend seems to be a good time for my food photography.
Had this tofu/veggie stir fry shot using window lighting and used a couple of home made aluminum foil wrapped reflectors to brighten up shaded spots. Used 50mm @f/5.6 prime lens for this foodie shot.
Spotted this tour bus along Michigan Ave during my visit to Chicago in spring 2010
Yes; it’s snow on the ground. We had less than an inch of snowfall last night as we are waiting for spring’s arrival.
Shot this in a park close home this evening as I was waiting for my daughter to return from her chess club meet.
I like the way this shot turned out – there is a bit of green in the grass amidst the white snow on the ground and this shot give me the feel that I’m in the woods.
Shot these folks on Segway tour during my visit to Chicago last spring.
Go Green!
