Bought 2×50′ soaker hose from Costco this evening to replace our 5 year old Sears bought Craftsman soaker hose. Over the period of past 5yrs it has worn out quite a bit and has been patched and re-patched umpteen times.

While deciding on what to shoot for today’s post, I saw this shinny coupling and took few pictures with my trusty Nikkor 60mm macro lens using window lighting. I am really pleased the way it turned out. As soaker hose was dark, it worked out as a backdrop for this shinny coupling.

Another macro capture using Nikkor 60mm macro. Never thought this lens will be used this often in my Photo 365 project. I will have to start using my other lenses in the days to come.
