Photo 365: Day 94 – Hyacinth

That’s a capture of Hyacinth in my front yard. Had to literally lie on my driveway to capture this (as this was low lying flower bloom). Used my Manfrotto tripod to capture this bloom which could be set as close to the ground – it was quite a task though 😉

The best flower pictures are often taken while lying flat on the ground. 😉 I love taking photos of flowers. It’s really what got me interested in high end photography in the first place. I wanted to capture the fleeting memories of the blossoms in my yard. The same goes for children. They change so quickly that it’s wonderful to have a record.
You have a great eye for both.
James,
So true on your comments on blooms/children. They all grow fast, don’t they. Hence, It’s always nice to have a record 😉

This is a nice photo.
Very clear and the colors are so vivid.
Did you do some post-processing?
Thanks Vampie. Yes I did minimal post processing. I shoot in RAW, so used Adobe RAW to tune up vibrancy and clarity.
Looks gorgeous!
