Photo 365: Day 139 – Sewing Mechanism
We have this old sewing machine that’s about 7+ years old. We were cleaning up the closet and the sewing machine mechanism caught my eyes. The moment I saw it, I knew I want to do a macro shot of the needle plate, foot and transporter of our sewing machine.
Used natural window lighting to shoot this at f/16 for 1/2s exposure.
What a great shot! Love how the colors blend in the depth of field and the clarity on the (foot, teeth, needle and thread) mechanism.

Sorry, seven years is not old. My sewing machine that is still in use is 34 years old. It’s a Swiss machine though. Anyway, nice detail and subject.
