Photo 365: Day 207 – TDS: Pink
Today’s daily shoot challenge: Today’s theme is the color pink. Find something that’s pink and make a creative photo.
Phlox is my subject for TDS assignment. Had this shot using 60mm micro Nikkor. With cloudy skies this evening, background mulch almost looked dark brown – and it made a perfect backdrop for this shot.

Love the colors. Pink isn’t my color for most things, but it makes for a beautiful flower. Mind if I ask what your light source was? Did you add any light besides the cloudy skies?
No Cheryl. It was just natural lighting – I like taking shots with available lighting.
Used spot metering to meter the shot and then switched the camera to manual mode and adjusted the lighting until I got the correct exposure.
Great image. Nice composition and great color. Perfect response to today’s challenge.
