Photo 365: Day 212 – TDS: Anti-Bokeh
Todays daily shoot assignment: Go anti-bokeh today. Use a large depth of field (higher aperture numbers) today to tell a story on multiple layers.
Another project I started this season – plant propagation from stem cuttings.
We have an Arabian Jasmine plant that we bought couple of years ago that has a wonderful smell and that’s one of my wife’ favorite plant. I tried with propagation last year with no luck – I think I started late in the fall and I don’t think the temperature was right in our basement (where we baby our tropical plants during winter season).
So I started early this year and I am already seeing new growth. Will have wait and see how my other plant propagation will do this season 😉
Neat project! I hope you’re documenting it all the way through!
Yes Elli – It’s available at http://the8thwonder.org/2009/10/21/how-to-propagate-arabian-jasmine-aka-jasminum-sambac/
Very nice. I love the way you use the light in this image.
Very nice Sasi. I like the contrast in color and texture.
I love the pot, great job of answering the assignment. Nice color and DoF
I see lots and lots of new growth. I guess that means it’s successful. Great job on the challenge.
I’m glad to find out that it’s not a dying plant. That’s what I thought when I first saw the photo. 🙂 Hope it works for you this time.
Congrats on both the photo and the new growth. 🙂
