Shot these closet doors last night in my friend’s house. I was drawn the repetitive pattern of light creeping through the cracks and openings in the door.

The pattern of light and shapes is precisely what I look for in every scene. That is what draws my eye and makes me want to photograph it. Brilliantly done, I think this one is definitely one of my favourites for the year.

perfect use of dominant shadows… interesting composition
When I saw the subject in my reader I thought “bifold doors? huh?” But this is really intriguing! The repeated pattern is nice, and the deep shadows give just enough context – but not too much. Very nice!
