Snow Day
Another snow day here in St. Louis area.
We had over 8″ of snow in our neighborhood and surprisingly it was sunny late in the afternoon with a blue sky.
I had few minutes to enjoy the snow with my son this evening and had the snow on pine tree shot with the blue sky as the backdrop.

Wonderful. I love the simpleness of the photograph, the gradient of the sky and the sharpness of the image. Very, very good.
That is a beautiful composition. I normally don’t like branches (or anything else for that matter) intruding incomplete into the frame, but this is perfectly done to suggest the whole. It also forms a great division of the gradient in the sky. Excellent shot.
