It’s the stuff that the flower’s petals are attached. I looked up Google and it’s called Calyx.
I didn’t want to sound like a botanist, so I came up with this misleading title Star…

Here is different POV of the mural with painted sculpture.
Personally I prefer this over my yesterday’s post. I think the blue sky along with the Hwy overpass adds a nice touch to this shot.

If you are from St. Louis area you should be able to recognize this giant mural shot with a painted sculpture of Peace..It’s a shot of Sheraton in downtown St. Louis.
I have passed this building umpteen times and have been wanting to take a shot of this mural. I had a chance to visit Amtrak station last evening and shot this from Civic Center MetroLink station.
