Photo 365: Day 109 – Colors of Spring
I was pleasantly surprised by the colors on thorns on our carpet rose bush in our backyard this evening. May be I have missed them during previous years. Definitely spring is full of colors and this Photo 365 project has taught me to observe things a bit closer (via my 3rd Eye ofcourse) 😉
I agree, perhaps, this photography and the desire to capture everything through my camera has made me see this wonderful nature in a whole new vision. Lovely capture!

These colours combined with the bokeh make me think of a fairytale. Like there should be a little fairy sitting on one of those leaves!
They look really painful. But the complimentary colors in the image are very nice.

And that’s another reason why I don’t work that much in my garden. 😉
I like how you chose to focus on the more structural aspect of the plant rather than the more attention grabbing flower. The contrast in the sharp thorns and the soft background is very effective.
