Photo 365: Day 234 – TDS: Low Key
Todays daily shoot assignment: Make a low key photo today with lots of dark areas. You might need to use exposure compensation to make it work.
Didn’t get to shoot for todays photo post until about 9:00 PM this evening. School season has started here and we have gotten busy with my daughter’s outside school activities.
So when I got settled in for shooting, I started racking my brain on what to shoot for TDS: Low Key assignment π
I was looking for a subject with lot of black areas and as I was already in the kitchen, I happen to notice the dishwasher which had the door opened. Bingo – found my subject. It’s the dishes in the dishwasher with the lower rack pulled in to make it a low key spot.
Had this shot with Nikon 50mm prime @f/8 for 2sec exposure.
Nice job & I really like the composition.
Good job Sasi. Lots of repeating patterns in here.
It is a very clear image. That’s a great lens. Nice job being creative.
Nice! Great composition to such an ordinary image.
Nicely done Sasi. Well composed and very low key π
I love the low contrast look of the image, brings some glamour to a scene I would never have thought could be glamorous π
Kind of a funny shot. Really crisp. Nicely done.
really great how such an ordinary thing looks so great.
Ah, the dishwasher = best invention ever! Hehe π
Nice and sharp, awesome shot.
I have found over the last few years that I am a “line” person…love this photo!
seriously, this is the most interesting dishwasher i have ever seen.
funny how something becomes interesting simply by taking a certain kind of photo. We are more used to seeing sparkly brochure photos of dishwashers. The look you chose transforms it somehow.
