Another busy Sunday. Had to prep my tropical plants for winter this afternoon and by the time I got done, I was pretty worn out.
So went around my backyard and did a macro shot of this yellow rose.

You are just on a roll with the excellence in photography, aren’t you? Yes, it is not an unusual shot or composition, but too many people try shots like these and can’t get them quite right. You have the lighting so spot on, all the tonality is maintained and yet the contrast is pleasingly strong. Nicely done.
