Photo 365: Day 296 – Anjou Pears
I got the idea to shoot pears this afternoon as I was enjoying my fruit snack at work.
Got home after running errands and it was already getting dark – so quickly had to set this up in the kitchen windowsill for this shot.
Used soft focus filter to soften the cuts and dark spots on these ripened pears.
I would have gone the opposite route of taking them as sharp as possible to emphasize the cuts and bruises. But then I tend to like a lot of texture.
Pears with character! I think I would have done the same as Nikhil – but this is so dreamy… Nice work!
