Photo 365: Day 354 – Portrait
That’s my daughter hiding behind her Fairy reading book for this portrait. She was a willing model for this shot as I promised her I won’t shoot her face 😉
Had to use bounced flash lighting for this shot as it was already dark by the time I got to shoot this evening.
This is such a fun portrait. The flash filled in very nicely.
Nice portrait. I like the dof and the choice of book for this shot. The bright pink colors work really well with the muted background.

I like how you positioned your daughter and the techniques used to photograph her. But I find everything that isn’t your daughter, or the book, a little distracting. I don’t like the background at all, it seems too cluttered. And the sliver of counter top is skewed. Fortunately, your daughter stars in this show and makes the whole of the portrait a success.
Great lighting. Nice technique. Cute portrait. I just wonder why she won’t let you take a picture with her face? She’s such a pretty girl.
