Photo 365: Day 357 – Town Homes
Remember this shot from August?
We are visiting friends and family in Chicago area and shot these town homes this morning. With the snow on ground from couple of days ago and grey sky, this shot rather turned out to be OK.
But I still like the idea of taking shots of places I visit in different seasons.
It’s really neat to see how this has gone from a scene with a blue sky and puffy white clouds to a snow covered winter scene.
I like the dual photos, they would go well framed together. In each individual shot you achieved an interesting geometrical symmetry, together they make a statement on the changing, yet unchanging nature of suburban life (or maybe they are just nice photos :)).
Ah, yes, looks very different in the snow. I do like the idea of taking the same shot at different times of the year. Merry Christmas to you, Sasi.
I love the idea of taking the same shot at different times of the year! Given the choice, I prefer the snow (I love the snow), the abandoned play set, the uncovered BBQ’s, I dunno, just makes the photo for me!
I think four season shots are a fabulous idea.
Nice snow.
perfect frame and pespective!!!! enchanting
merry Christmas, Sasi.
Great image! You did great with your exposure for all that grey and white. I would prefer the first one but only because I’d rather have that season 😉
