Snow Day
It’s a snow day here in St. Louis area. Although there wasn’t much overnight snow accumulation, driving to work early in the morning was a bit tricky and kids got to stay home.
Got home this evening and shot this snow on the pine tree. Not the exact kind of shot I was going for, but I like the way this turned out 😉

That turned out beautifully. Love the way you’ve taken this shot, and the little bit of snow on the pine really makes this photo extra special. Light has worked perfectly here as well.
It did turn out well. The texture and shape of the plant in the foreground sets off quite nicely the regular shapes of the house in the background. It’s also, more or less, a monochrome 🙂 Very nice.

We got all of our snow overnight. I got out to take some photos but found I couldn’t get where I wanted to go. I got one shot. I like the nice dof in this shot.
