w52.7.3: Checking out…
Another shot from my trip to Chicago area last weekend…
I took multiple pictures of this fire hydrant and I like this best among the other shots. I like the way my daughter and her cousin are checking out what I am shooting.
I wonder what my daughter is telling her cousin – I bet it’s something along the line “my Dad always does that” 😉
if i wrote out everything that i like about this shot, it would be a really, big, long comment. So, instead I’ll just say: “Brilliant!”
You’ve outdone yourself here. That is a fantastic shot. The curve of the hill, the children in the background, sublime! There is something above the left “arm” of the hydrant on the grass, in this superb shot it is a distraction. Is this something you would consider cloning out? That lovely spot heal in Lightroom is perfect for stuff like that 🙂
Thanks for the suggestion Nikhil. Will get it fixed tonight 😉
Great shot Sasi! Lovely composition, and I love the slight motion blur on the kids in the background!
I like your story, it’s cute. I wonder what the kids say too. You have an interesting perspective, I like this. Your people shots inspire me.
enchanting composition love this different levels in the photo
The first thing that caught my eye (okay, second really as the hydrant certainly caught my eye) was the grassy bowl, then the kids at play. What a great image (I agree with Nikhil though, removing the twig under the left arm would be a little better). About your comment regarding your daughter, I am certain my kids say the same thing! 😀
