w52.11.2: BBQ

We had a perfect weather for BBQ this noon – with the considerable summer rain yesterday, humidity has dropped considerably and we didn’t feel the heat much today.

Anyway, it’s been quite some time now since I last posted a foodie related shot. With the perfect summer day, I want to capture a shot that depicts the essence of summer food.

Did some prep work this morning for this foodie shot – from getting the plates setup in place, to wrapping the plates with aluminum foil and such. Despite all the prep work, I’m not really satisfied with the outcome. I need to practice more with my (available) lighting and overall setup…

It’s been so long that I’d forgotten how good you are at these. I know you are not completely satisfied, but when you are this good at something, even when you think it isn’t that good, its still better than the majority of us can manage.

Sasi, your prep work payed off in such a great shot. Love the shiny aluminum with such an interesting PoV. Glad you had a great BBQ. Happy 4th!
