Photo 365: Day 288 – Buttermilk cornbread

Buttermilk cornbread with flaxseed meal… that’s the subject for day:288

Photo 365: Day 287 – Corn

Took my little one to a farm close home this afternoon and he had a great time watching the farm animals.

I shot  this as we were entering the corn maze. Silly me, I forgot recharging my Nikon battery after last evening’ shoot and it died half way through our visit. Normally I tend to carry a spare battery with me – but not today.

Will have to visit this farm again before it gets cold outside.

Photo 365: Day 286 – Lake Whetzel

Went back to the same spot that I shot the fall colors last week. I was expecting more fall colors this time.

Not quite yet – with the warm weather I am guessing there wasn’t much noticeable change from last week.

There are 2 more bonus shots for day:286

Photo 365: Day 286 – Trunk (bonus)

Bonus shot from my visit to the park this evening.

I thought this tree truck was quite interesting.

Photo 365: Day 285 – Flame

Another quick one for day:285

When there is nothing else to shoot, shoot a macro 😉

That’s what happened this evening. I am out of time this evening and when I got home from work, saw my wife cooking and thought I should try a macro shot of flame.

I really like the neon like glow around the edges.

Photo 365: Day 284 – Silica gel

A quick post for day:284

I found a bag of silica gel in my old camera bag yesterday morning and did a macro shot of these desiccant last evening. Used my wife’s black hand bag as a backdrop.

Photo 365: Day 283 – Fall colors

Shot this at the Faust park this evening as the Sun was about to set.

Surprisingly we still have warm weather here at this time of the year. It has been quite some time since it last rained…but we are definitely enjoying this fall weather.

Photo 365: Day 282 – I was in Heaven

Read that “I was in Heaven Scent Bakery” 😉

I am not a big fan of Donuts but I know where to go when I have my Donut craving. Had to stop by this bakery on my way home this afternoon to get some sugary treats for my kiddos. Love this place!

Photo 365:Day 281 – Clock on a pole

Decided to take a break from daily shoot assignments 😉

I got inspired by Nikhil Ramkarran’s style of photography and want to try something new. I spent some time analyzing my pictures (from this project) and got the feel most of these were staged (where I have much control over the lighting and setup).

So I want to try something new – will have to see if I can stick to this as I try spending less than 30 minutes or so for this project amidst other things that keep me busy these days.

Took my daughter to library close home this afternoon and shot this clock on a pole close to the library.
