Photo 365: Day 209 – TDS: Motion
Today’s daily shoot assignment: The world is always in motion. Make a photo that conveys a bit of your own motion to your viewer.
As I was thinking about TDS assignment what popped in my mind was sous-chef action 😉
So decided to do another self-portrait for this assignment with me julienning carrots for stir fry this evening.
Had to set the camera on the tripod and had it pre-focussed on the carrots sitting atop the chopping board. Then had it shot using delayed timer feature. Used 150mm Sigma macro lens for this shot with window lighting.
Shows good motion. Nicely done, as usual.
Excellent job capturing the motion. Beautiful color too.
I love the crisp focus of the carrots with the motion from the knife. Very well done.
Great job on the motion!!
Very nice.
great shot… looks like you really know what you’re doing in the kitchen too!
This is so great! Love the motion of your hand cutting the carrots.
Perfect shot! You caught the action. Apparently you are a good chef and you eat well too! Nice job.
Wow, you can chop fast. 🙂 Great motion shot and Daily Shoot entry. Thanks for sharing the set up.
Good take on the theme. I love the subtle motion, whilst everything else is so clear and sharp.
Wow this is amazing! I can definitely see the motion. Great interpretation of the assignment!
What a great way to capture motion! And I love the light. Window light is my favorite.
