Photo 365: Day 316 – Butternut Squash
Finally we got to bake the butternut squash which we had bought from the store about a fortnight ago 😉
Surprisingly it was still delicious.

While running errands this evening, spotted these out of place shopping carts for someone else to deal with.
Chick-Fil-A: That’s where we had our dinner this evening after running errands.
That’s our meteorologist measuring temperature and wind direction using her gizmo on a windy evening 😉
I got the idea to shoot pears this afternoon as I was enjoying my fruit snack at work.
Got home after running errands and it was already getting dark – so quickly had to set this up in the kitchen windowsill for this shot.
Used soft focus filter to soften the cuts and dark spots on these ripened pears.
Buttermilk cornbread with flaxseed meal… that’s the subject for day:288
Decided to take a break from daily shoot assignments 😉
I got inspired by Nikhil Ramkarran’s style of photography and want to try something new. I spent some time analyzing my pictures (from this project) and got the feel most of these were staged (where I have much control over the lighting and setup).
So I want to try something new – will have to see if I can stick to this as I try spending less than 30 minutes or so for this project amidst other things that keep me busy these days.
Took my daughter to library close home this afternoon and shot this clock on a pole close to the library.
Got home late this evening and not much inspiration for daily shoot assignment.
Had to take my little one for his bike ride this evening and thought I will try few shots in our community.
There are 3 photo posts for day: 278 and these were taken in 10 minute intervals.
Bonus shot for day: 278
Had to bump up the ISO to 1250 for this shot.
